Celtic have appointed Kolo Toure to the club's coaching staff.
The 36-year-old former Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool defender is being employed as a technical assistant.
Toure, who represented Ivory Coast in the final stages of three World Cup tournaments, spent last season with the Hoops following a free transfer.
Toure played under Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool and linked up with his former manager for a second time when signing for Celtic in a playing capacity last summer.
He appeared in 17 matches for Celtic, in all competitions during 2016/17, and will return to Glasgow for the remainder of the current season as a member of their backroom staff.
The news follows the announcement that midfielder Callum McGregor signed a new four-year contract with Celtic which will keep him at Parkhead until the summer of 2021.
The 24-year-old has gone on to score 21 goals in 121 matches, including three in 10 games so far this campaign.
