Former Everton manager Ronald Koeman is not interested in taking over at Swansea, according to Sky sources.

Sky Sports News understands Swansea were interested in approaching Koeman to replace Paul Clement after he was sacked on Wednesday evening.

Former West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is another candidate the Welsh club are considering to replace the former Bayern Munich and PSG assistant coach.

Koeman has been without a job since he was sacked by Everton in October after their 5-2 home defeat to Arsenal saw them fall into the relegation zone.

Leon Britton is in caretaker charge of Swansea and will take the reins this Saturday for their game against relegation rivals Crystal Palace, but he has ruled himself out of the running for the managerial vacancy at the Liberty Stadium.

The midfielder is understood to have taken charge of training on Thursday morning alongside U23 coaches Cameron Toshack and Gary Richards.
