Monaco are interested in signing Leicester striker Islam Slimani, according to Sky sources.
The French Ligue 1 champions are pursuing new forwards as they prepare to let Kylian Mbappe join Paris Saint-Germain before the transfer deadline.
And Sky Sports News understands they have also shown interest in Torino's Andrea Belotti and Chelsea's exiled striker Diego Costa.
Slimani, 29, scored eight goals in his first season at the King Power Stadium following a club-record £29m move from Sporting Lisbon last summer.
The Algerian star had scored 48 goals over three seasons in the Portuguese Primeira and three more for the club in European competitions.
He has not started a game yet in the Premier League this season but scored twice in the Foxes' 4-1 EFL Cup win at Sheffield United in midweek.
Slimani has started all three league games on the bench, with Craig Shakespeare preferring Shinji Okazaki up front so far this term.
