Watford boss Javi Gracia believes his signings in the January transfer window will help improve their results

Javi Gracia says he is confident Watford's January signings will help his side win games.

The Hornets signed Gerard Deulofeu on loan from Barcelona, Sunderland loanee Didier Ndong and Dodi Lukebakio for an undisclosed fee from Anderlecht.

Gracia, who replaced the sacked Marco Silva in the middle of the transfer window, says he is pleased with the new additions and believes they can make a difference to the 11th-placed side.

"Now the transfer window is closed I am very happy with the players now with me," said Gracia, ahead of Monday's game against Chelsea, live on Sky Sports.

"We improve the level of players that we have and I hope the new players can help us improve the level of the team," said Gracia.

"Now we have three new players with Gerard Deulofeu, Lukebakio and Ndong, three players in three positions we need to improve and I'm confident they will give us good results with games."

Chelsea lost 3-0 to Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, but Gracia is not letting that have too much of an impact ahead of the clash and says he respects the current champions.
