Mauricio Pochettino praised his “clinical” Tottenham side following their 5-1 win over Stoke at Wembley.
Spurs went into the game on a three-game winless run in the Premier League but ran out comfortable winners thanks to two goals from Harry Kane and a man of the match display from Heung-Min Son.
"Today I think we were clinical in front of goal. I think we created a lot of chances and everyone was very good," Pochettino told Sky Sports.
Son was the star. He provided the cross from which Ryan Shawcross turned the ball into his own net, scored the second himself and set up Christian Eriksen for the fifth.
"Sonny was great, an amazing performance," added Pochettino. "I think he was one of the key players today.
"But I think the team performance was fantastic. I am so pleased for the team performance.
"I am happy because the most important thing today was the victory and the three points after a few games where we didn't get the result that we deserved.
"But today the team played well and it was a great victory that was important for the next few games."
The result moves Pochettino's men above Arsenal into fifth and while the Spurs boss says "all is possible in football" and is not focusing on a tilt at the Premier League title just yet.
"It is step by step," he said. "We must go game by game. It is so important to get ready again for Brighton on Wednesday and we will see what will happen then.
"We are not going to be focused on if we need to finish top or win the Premier League. We need to put our [focus] on the next game always."
