Arsenal midfielder Jon Toral is undergoing a medical ahead of a proposed move to Hull, according to Sky sources.
Sky Sports News revealed on Monday that the Tigers were in advanced talks with Arsenal for the 22-year-old and they have since agreed a deal.
If all being well, Toral will become the ninth arrival at the Sky Bet Championship club during the summer transfer window.
Toral has spent the past three seasons out on loan spells in the Sky Bet Championship, La Liga and Scottish Premiership.
He shone under Mark Warburton at Brentford in the 2014-15 season, scoring six goals in over 30 appearances, and worked with Warburton again at Rangers last term.
Toral also spent a season at Birmingham City and a spell with Granada in Spain.
Hull have been looking to bring in three players before the end of this week, with Swansea's Stephen Kingsley expected to join as part of the £16.5m deal for Sam Clucas to join the Swans.
