Eddie Howe insists he is "happy" with Bournemouth's transfer business this summer, but is open to more additions.
Bournemouth have already made four summer signings, including Jermain Defoe and Asmir Begovic, while a number of players have signed new long-term deals.
Howe, whose team open their Premier League campaign away against West Brom on Saturday, admits a club's transfer dealings are never truly completed.
"I'm happy with what we've got," Howe told the Daily Echo.
"We acted early in the market and are delighted with the players we have signed.
"To say that we were finished would not be accurate because I never consider our business done."
Sky Sports News reported that the Cherries had a bid in the region of £20m for Leicester City striker Demarai Gray rejected last week, and Howe has confirmed the club could move for a player should circumstances change.
"You just don't know what will happen. You might get injuries, suspensions or problems and need to be able to replace players if you have to," he added.
"I am not going to say no, but we are not, at this moment in time, in desperate need to strengthen."
