Harry Kane would not want to leave Tottenham while Mauricio Pochettino is building something special, says Guillem Balague.
Kane has been on fine form this season, scoring 11 goals in 10 games so far, to add to the impressive campaigns with Pochettino over the previous three seasons.
Balague, whose book 'Brave New World: Inside Pochettino's Spurs' comes out October 26, insists Kane loves what the Argentine is bringing to Tottenham, and although giant clubs like Real Madrid would be interested, he would not leave at the moment.
Balague said on Sky Sports: "Of course big clubs are looking at him, no doubt about that. Real Madrid Florentino Perez tends to like the attitude of a good English player.
"What I say is: why would he leave? He is a Spurs fan. Pochettino, his coaching staff and Daniel Levy are building something special at Spurs.
"Everyone wants to be a part of something special. I think Kane feels that way. He deals very well with rumours, and whatever has been suggested about his future, while working hard. I think his main aim is to take Spurs as far as he can.
"That's his main aim now, and the daily work, and enjoyment of the daily work, continues."
Kane has been praised by Pochettino on several occasions for his attitude on and off the pitch, as well as his goalscoring exploits.
Balague believes the England striker, still only 24, is the perfect player for Pochettino, and can still improve in the future.
"He had a house miles away in Essex, but has bought a place nearer to the Spurs training ground, spending the week there while he trains.
"The amazing thing about Kane is that he is like a sponge; he absorbs, he listens, he is completely in love with what Pochettino brought to the side.
"He had the habits of a 30-year-old when Pochettino first arrived, and now he's at the peak of his physical powers, and can still improve.
"He realises the importance of the small details, he is a leader in so many ways, in the way he arrived first and leaves last at training."
