Everton have been handed a boost ahead of their Europa League clash with Apollon Limassol as Wayne Rooney took full part in training on Wednesday.
Rooney sustained a cut above his left eye and a bloodied face in Everton's 2-1 victory over Bournemouth, after being caught by the arm of Simon Francis.
The 31-year old, who came off just after half-time in the win, trained in front of the media on Wednesday.
The former England international took full part in the session, while Michael Keane and Phil Jagielka continued their recovery from injury away from the main group.
That also applied to James McCarthy, even though he has been included in the Republic of Ireland's provisional squad for World Cup Qualifiers next month against Moldova and Wales, live on Sky Sports.
Oumar Niasse, who scored both goals against Bournemouth last weekend, was involved in full training but is unable to play on Thursday night at Goodison Park as he was not included in the squad for the Europa League group stage.
Ronald Koeman's side will be aiming to pick up their first win in Group E following a 3-0 defeat away at Italian side Atalanta in their opening match.
