Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has escaped injury after a minor car crash in Cobham.

Sky Sports News understands that the incident, which happened after the France midfielder left the club's training ground, is unlikely to affect his availability for the trip to Stoke on Saturday afternoon.

Bakayoko, 23, moved to the Blues from Monaco in July for £40million, signing a five-year contract.

He had signed for the Ligue 1 club in the summer of 2014, after leaving French rivals Rennes, and made almost 100 appearances for the principality side during his three seasons, scoring five goals.
