Kylian Mbappe

The summer transfer window may have closed for the majority of clubs across Europe but many are already making moves ahead of January.

Our friends at Football Whispers have scoured the papers across Europe for the latest news and transfer rumours.

France

Teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe joined Paris Saint-Germain on an initial loan on Deadline Day. The 18-year-old striker was on the wish-list of every top team in Europe but opted to join his boyhood club.

However, he came close to joining Manchester City after meeting with Pep Guardiola. Ultimately, though, he revealed he rejected the club and not the manager. (L'Equipe)

Marseille want to bring Bacary Sagna back to France. The right-back is a free agent following his release by Manchester City and has been linked with a number of clubs, including Chelsea.

However, the Premier League champions opted for Davide Zappacosta and while Marseille made their move for 34-year-old Sagna, he is expected to join another English side. (L'Equipe)

AC Milan have retained an interest in Arturo Vidal following their pursuit of the Bayern Munich midfielder in the summer. His current deal expires in the summer of 2019 and the Serie A side are thought to be weighing up another move for the Chilean. (SportBild)
