 I've lived failure, studied failure. I've had quite a bit of success as well, you know, so it's been quite nice. That's what a life is, you know, said Potter. 
Maybe in England we have taken it for granted because we usually qualify, said Potter. But the reality is that many countries do not, so it is special when they do.
You're never quite as good or as bad as people say, says Potter. You've got to find some way of keeping perspective.
I think it's probably fair to say it hasn't gone as well as he would have liked, or anybody would have liked, but sometimes these things happen, says Potter.
