We should have won the game. We should have been more ruthless, Rosenior said afterwards. There was a lack of penetration in the first half, second half we had more moments without the right final pass or finish and that's really disappointing.
That wasn't on Wesley, that was on our performance, Rosenior said. From the first goal, we lacked decision, I wanted us to create wave after wave of attack. We were too safe in possession.
A marking assignment was missed, Rosenior said. I'm not here to throw players under the bus - I will always protect my players, and I'll deal with it during the week. But there was a player assigned that duty who marked the wrong man.
