 JJ is one of the boys. He's obviously got a really big talent. He's trained with us quite a bit and is getting experience all the time, Carrick said last month. He's physically adapting to each step that he makes, and we're just continuing his development.

We've got to move on [from City loss]; we've got to win games, said Carrick. We have done – we've won a lot of games, and we need to continue to do that.

It's important for us to win football matches, Carrick said. It's important that we manage the squad as well, and get everyone up, keep everyone up to speed, keep everyone ready, keep everyone part of it. We're going into Wednesday trying to win the game.

He (Shaw) could possibly be fit for Brighton, but it's not clear-cut, said Carrick. It's a matter of a few days rather than anything else.
