I think Ebere has had a strange season, said Palace boss Oliver Glasner at the end of March. He hasn't had many goals in the Premier League and he has been unlucky, but he keeps going.
He struggled last year at the beginning of the season but going through this period helped him become a better footballer, Glasner said. I spoke very often about the crunch time, I'm a big NBA fan and in the crunch time the superstars are always on the court.
We defended the first ball but we didn't defend the second ball, the rebound, said Glasner. I think it was not an issue of having three players up, it was just that we have to be so sharp in every situation.
We are very, very late. It's 10 days to go [until the transfer window closes] to find the right replacements, said Glasner. I think we could have done much better than we did.
