Bought from Newcastle for 35m 2016. Struggled until now to get into Poch's Spurs team. A powerhouse of a player! Always rated him since I saw him representing his country in Euros 2016. How Spurs have managed to keep the player amazes me. He's 29 now. A Mourinho player if ever I've seen one. Too...

Gary Neville, or someone who looked very like him, played for the Newcastle side of the early 50s that won three FA Cups.

There's lots of highlights on YouTube from United/Arsenal in the 90s and of course Newcastle, Chelsea, Spurs, Leeds etc. One thing I've noticed is the accuracy of the crosses. Also, Cantona's touches, fecking hell. Sublime technique, especially when you take Lukaku as reference point.

I saw a post from Andy Cole on Instagram in which he thanked Newcastle for inducting him into their Hall of Fame, and it got me thinking, why don't we have one? Could have an annual ceremony for inductions, perhaps tied to the end of season awards ceremony. We've more than enough names to have re...

The old Jose is on the way back, his reaction after the Newcastle game, his anger after the Chelsea incident and now his reaction to the Juve fans after last nights game. He is not quite back but he is getting there and shows how much he loves United. Keep it going Jose. If he can beat that other...

Talks Chelsea and rumours about getting the sack after Newcastle It was those pre-match headlines that affected some of his players in the first half of that game, according to the United boss. "I think the players in that weekend we didn't sleep in the hotel, everyone stayed at his own house, an...

So as we know, he's having a poor season so far. Against Newcastle he looked very slow, dithered on the ball and got tackled/intercepted many times. He's in charge of building our play from the back, and he's doing a poor job, he just doesn't move or pass the ball fast enough. As soon as he was m...

I thought that if we beat Newcastle, the 100-1 odds would come tumbling down. It’s still 100-1. I’ve put a fiver on it. A good chip dinners worth. IF we have somehow got that spirit back in the team after the comeback from 2-0 down, we could unite as a team. We win the next 3 games (not impossibl...

Rio's speaking a whole lot of sense, so much so it's hard to contest his points. I hope someone has captured that. It must really wind up the manager to be faced with such constructive and well constructed criticism. Anyone watching?

Well we got the massive comeback we needed at half-time and Jose breathes again. We played with much more speed and risk in the second-half and it paid off. It was shades of years gone by at Old Trafford towards the end as we scored 3 goals in the last 20 minutes to come back from the dead. So wh...

I don’t mean the likes of Brighton, Huddersfield or Newcastle whenever they play us. Although, you can be sure that those teams will lie down and let City and Liverpool batter them. I mean Manchester United. We always had that fighting spirit til the final whistle and NEVER underestimated anyone....

This guy has been great for Newcastle this season. He’s their captain and forms the backbone of the team. A brilliant defending CB in the true sense of the word who can get into the opponents box, rise above defences and smash in headers. Totally committed and plays with attitude and authority. A...
