Arsenal in hunt for ‘new Mesut Ozil’ in Turkish-Germany prodigy Berkay Ozcan
Teenager claims 'my agent and I are in talks with Arsenal - they have been scouting me for past two years'
ARSENAL are hunting the new Mesut Ozil - Turkish-German prodigy Berkay Ozcan.
The 19-year-old Stuttgart midfielder claims Emirates boss Arsene Wenger has had him watched for two years.
There are distinct similarities between Ozcan and the Gunners' £42million former record signing Ozil.
Ozcan was born in Germany to Turkish parents, just like Ozil.
He initially won Germany Under-15 caps, but has since switched allegiance to Turkey.
The youngster has made quite a name for himself, playing for all the Turkish youth sides up to Under-21 level.
