Emre Can to leave Liverpool for free after Juventus rule out January transfer
German midfielder is out of contract in the summer and has been linked with a Serie A switch for ages

LIVERPOOL will lose Emre Can for free in the summer, with a winter sale ruled out, according to Juventus.
The German midfielder is out of contract in June and Liverpool’s last chance of scraping some funds in for him end at the start of February.
Can has been linked with a Turin switch for almost a year and has had to publicly deny having already signed a contract with the Old Lady.
But Juve CEO Beppe Marotta has made it clear his club is close to stealing a star talent off their Champions League rivals, without having to spend a penny.
The Serie A chief said: "For sure, he is a great player and the fact that in June he can come at zero cost is a great opportunity for Juventus.
“Still nothing has happened, we have linked contacts that will intensify in the coming weeks. But I exclude that it arrives in January, he would certainly be fine in our midfield and we will do everything to try and get him.”
After helping Jurgen Klopp’s side stun Manchester City with a 4-3 Prem win last weekend, Can addressed the rumours he has already promised his future to Juve.
The box-to-box ace said: “My agent is looking after everything but I am here until the summer.

"I haven't signed anything with anyone. I am talking with everyone.
"Of course I am talking with Liverpool. Why not? I still have a contract here. It is an amazing club.
“"What can I say? My agent does the rest.
"I just concentrate on the scene, on my performance and the football. I will give everything for this team."
