Manchester United pair Antonio Valencia and Michael Carrick fly out to Dubai for warm weather training as they recover from injuries
MICHAEL CARRICK and Antonio Valencia are stepping up their return to fitness by joining their Manchester United team-mates for warm weather training in Dubai.
The injured pair are recovering from heart surgery and a hamstring crock respectively.
Red Devils skipper Carrick, 36, has not played since the 4-1 Carabao Cup win over Burton on September 20.
And vice-captain Valencia, 32, was taken off after 66 minutes of United's 2-1 Premier League win at West Brom on December 17.
But United fans will be delighted to see the pair are included in the club's training trip to the Middle East.
Marouane Fellaini is also seen in the airport amid uncertainty over his future.
The big Belgian, 30, is out of contract in the summer and rejected a new deal in November.
But he can be seen smiling on a funny video Jesse Lingard posted to Instagram.

United have played 11 games since the beginning of December and Jose Mourinho is using a rare week off to regroup.
They do not play again until next Monday night when they take on Stoke.
The week of sunshine is expected to revitalise the players after a busy festive period.
Mourinho's men will be staying in the One&Only Royal Mirage Hotel, which is renowned as one of the most luxurious resorts in the Middle East.
Mourinho said: "We need to recover but at the same time we also need to train because during this crazy time we have not had many times to work on details that you want to work on.
"It’s been more about the recovery from the match and the travelling and the preparations for the next one without time to work.
"If we can have time to have a good, nice week to recover some injured players and tired players and, at the same time, work on some tactical details I think it would be good for the second part of the season."
