Alexis Sanchez puts dressing room rift aside to train ahead of West Brom clash as Jack Wilshere continues to prove his fitness
Chilean star could be talking to Pep Guardiola on the Etihad training pitch if Sanchez gets his way next month
IF ALEXIS Sanchez gets his way, then he'll be on the training pitch at Manchester City by the end of January.
The Chilean cut a lone figure and was locked in a deep conversation with boss Arsene Wenger ahead of Arsenal's clash at West Brom on Sunday.
The talk was unlikely to be about Sanchez's dream move to the Etihad but with fierce rumours that the wantaway forward has caused a dressing room rift, Wenger may be tempted to cash in on his star man next month.
Sanchez, 29, missed out on a switch to Pep Guardiola's side in the summer and the Spaniard is likely to make his move again when the transfer window opens in two days time.
According to Goal, City assured Sanchez's agent, Fernando Felicevich, that they will make a fresh move next year and remain confident that they will land the star.
It means the encounter at the Baggies could be one of his last games in an Arsenal jersey.
Another player on form but with doubts over his future is midfielder Jack Wilshere.
The England ace is sending a serious statement to Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate with a string of impressive performances.

Wilshere is out of contract in the summer but is likely to hold talks with Wenger over a new contract sooner rather than later.
Having failed to start a league match until December 13, Wilshere has started Arsenal's last four but is likely to be rested for the trip to the Hawthorns.
Olivier Giroud and Nacho Monreal remain sidelined with injuries while Aaron Ramsey is also unlikely to feature with a hamstring problem.
