Manchester United offer Marouane Fellaini new contract worth £150,000-a-week to prevent him from leaving on free transfer
Midfielder rejected a contract offer in September and is able to speak to foreign clubs over summer switch next month
MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly offered Marouane Fellaini another new deal to prevent him from leaving for free next summer.
The midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and rejected an extension in September.
But the Daily Star claims Jose Mourinho is desperate to keep Fellaini at Old Trafford.
It’s said that United chiefs have presented the Belgian with an offer that would see him pocket £150,000-a-week, £30k-a-week more than his current salary.
SunSport exclusively revealed earlier this month that Mourinho has held crisis talks with Fellaini, reminding him of his importance to the team.
Fellaini has proven himself to be a handy addition to Mourinho’s arsenal, with his height and strength coming in useful when either pushing for a late goal or setting up shop.

However, the ex-Everton ace wants more playing time and is attracting interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Besiktas and Roma.
If Fellaini does leave, United could replace him with Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
