West Ham news: Hammers want Harry Arter and are ready to launch a £15million bid for Bournemouth star in January
DAVID MOYES is ready to make a £15million bid for Bournemouth’s Harry Arter.
West Ham boss Moyes wants to spend on new faces next month and would prefer domestic talent — with midfielder Arter emerging as a major target.
Arter, 27, has been in and out of Eddie Howe’s Cherries side lately to raise doubts about his long-term future just months after he signed a new deal.
Moyes is a big fan of the competitive Ireland star who would put muscle in his midfield.
He could also be an eventual successor to Mark Noble as the club’s homegrown ‘heart’.
Arter has been a major part of the Bournemouth success story and usually a first pick under Howe. But this has been the toughest campaign of his career.

The South Coast club may be reluctant to sell to a rival at the wrong end of the table but if Arter hints that he fancies a move to the East End then that may tip the scales.
The Hammers also hope to move Andre Ayew back to Swansea but are resisting interest in Diafra Sakho unless Moyes finds a striker.

Danny Ings is his preference but he is back in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
Bournemouth are also looking to raise funds and want to shift Lewis Grabban and Benik Afobe after years of spending.
