Arsenal news: Manchester City face bidding war with PSG for contract rebel Alexis Sanchez
French club ready to test the Gunners resolve in January with the Chilean's deal expiring at the end of the season
MANCHESTER CITY reportedly face a January bidding war with PSG for Arsenal contract rebel Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean's contract runs out at the end of the season with City the team leading the chase.
But the Mirror are reporting that moneybags PSG are ready to reignite their interest in Sanchez, 28, and make a move in the winter window.
City boss Pep Guardiola wants a reunion with the winger he managed at Barcelona but was willing to wait until the summer to get him for nothing.
And the report claims that only a flurry of injuries in the busy Christmas period would have seen them bid in January.
It also notes that Sanchez, despite making one appearance in the Europa League this season, would be eligible to play in the next phase of the Champions League.
And that could see Sanchez sway his decision to move before the summer and PSG could steal a deal.
The Mirror claim the Ligue 1 leaders have been in touch with Sanchez's representatives.

PSG also believe moving from London to the French capital could appeal to Sanchez rather than moving to the North West.
Arsenal look set to lose Sanchez this summer despite ongoing attempts to get him to sign a new contract.
