HARRY KANE and Sergio Aguero have both been nominated for Uefa’s Team of the Year.
The Tottenham and Manchester City stars join 13 other strikers looking to nab two places in the highly-rated starting XI at the end of the year.
Kane finished as top scorer in the Premier League last season and has struck eight times in the new term despite missing a number of games with injury.
Meanwhile, Aguero remains one of the deadliest forwards in English football and is leading City’s charge towards a third top-flight title.
But they face stiff competition for recognition at the highest level, with Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi leading the list of other nominees.
Real’s Karim Benzema and Barca’s Luis Suarez are also included, as is Paris Saint-Germain’s world-record signing Neymar.

There are nods for a number of usual suspects, such as Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann.
Juventus’ Paulo Dybala and Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have also received nods.
