JOHN TERRY appears to be well on the road to recovery thanks to a brutal fitness regime at Aston Villa.
The former Chelsea skipper, 36, broke his metatarsal against Sheffield Wednesday earlier this month.
But Terry has been fighting through the pain, as he battled his way through a gruelling workout in the gym, as he aims to make his Villa comeback sooner rather than later.
The 78-cap England international took to Instagram to share a video of his intense session... all the while wearing a foot brace.
JT captioned the video: "I hate being injured and can’t wait to be back."
In the clip, Terry goes through a range of exercises, including a chest-press, pull-ups and a brisk swim.
Since suffering the injury, Terry has enjoyed some time away... jetting off to Dubai with wife Toni.
While out in the Middle East, JT was also spotted with British boxing star Anthony Joshua.
Terry shared an image of the two of them to his 3.5million Instagram followers, captioned: "With the champ @anthony_joshua @georgie26terry @thomasroyall."
The ex-Chelsea skipper also enjoyed some time at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park - with Alvaro Morata and Davide Zappacosta also present for the festivities.
