MOY OH MOY

David Moyes’ odds to be next Premier League boss to leave slashed after just ONE West Ham game

He's been in the Hammers hotseat for less that two weeks, but Moyes is incredibly already coming under pressure

DAVID MOYES has seen his odds to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job take a tumbe - after just ONE game back.

On Sunday West Ham put in an abject display as they fell to a 2-0 away defeat to Watford, and were booed off by their own fans.

Subsequently, Moyes' odds on being the next boss to go fell from 40/1 to 25/1, after less than two weeks in charge.

And the bookies aren't the only ones who think Moyes' job could well be a short-lived one.

Joey Barton has claimed that David Moyes is already on thin ice at West Ham.

talkSPORT pundit Barton says that Moyes could be struggling by the turn of the year with West Ham facing a lethal run of fixtures.

The former Man City and Queens Park Rangers midfielder said: "They could be looking for another manager again in January.

"If they don’t have a positive upturn in performances and results then the January window opens and you go 'OK, is David going to be our long-term manager? No.

DON'T BLINK He's already on thin ice, says former Prem ace

"'Are we going to allow him money to spend? Well, no. Then are we better replacing him?'"

West Ham face Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham in December, as well as Leicester, Everton, Stoke, Newcastle and Bournemouth.

"If somebody else more attractive comes to the market, who is to say West Ham won't replace David again.

"It's clear he wasn’t the fans' number one choice."
