Liverpool star Adam Lallana returns to squad for Sevilla clash as Jurgen Klopp’s men look to qualify in Champions League group stage
Midfield playmaker hasn't made a single appearance for Reds this term after suffering thigh injury in pre-season
ADAM LALLANA is back in the Liverpool squad for the first time this season as Jurgen Klopp’s men prepare to face Spanish giants Sevilla.
Lallana is yet to feature in the new campaign after suffering a thigh injury in pre-season.
But he could now be thrust into the starting XI as Liverpool look to book their place in the Champions League knockout stages.
Lallana looked extremely upbeat as he joined his team-mates at John Lennon airport for their flight to Seville.
But Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain was on edge after it emerged he had forgotten his car keys.
The summer signing had to wait around while his pals headed into the terminal to make sure his keys were secure.
What Liverpool need to do to qualify
LIVERPOOL currently sit atop Group E with eight points from their four games - two wins, two draws.
If they beat second placed Sevilla, they will definitely qualify and will have done it with a game to spare.
Should they win the game and Spartak also fail to beat Maribor, Klopp's side will claim top spot.
If the game finishes as a draw, Liverpool would still qualify should the Russians lose to Maribor - but a point or better for Spartak would leave the Reds needing a point in their final group game.
And if they lose - it's wide open.
Sevilla would go top of the group, Liverpool would still definitely qualify with a win over Spartak - and a draw would probably see them through in second place.

And Sadio Mane was forced to hop back on the coach because he had forgotten something crucial.
However, Jurgen Klopp will be keen to ensure his team is fully focused for the task at hand as Liverpool look to put distance between themselves and Sevilla at the top of Group E.
STURR CRAZY Daniel Sturridge ready to quit Liverpool and save World Cup dream
A win for the Reds will book their place in the next stage, while a draw could allow Spartak Moscow to make a late play for first.
But defeat away from home could prove to be deadly, and Sevilla are sure to fancy their chances after beating Celta Vigo at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan in La Liga on Saturday.
