David Moyes could be sacked by West Ham by January with disaster run coming up, claims Joey Barton
TalkSPORT pundit says Moyes is on a short leash despite getting gig until end of the season
JOEY BARTON has claimed that David Moyes is already on thin ice at West Ham.
The former Manchester United boss took charge of his first Hammers game on Sunday, a 2-0 defeat to Watford.
But talkSPORT pundit Barton says that Moyes could be struggling by the turn of the year with West Ham facing a lethal run of fixtures.
The former Man City and Queens Park Rangers midfielder said: "They could be looking for another manager again in January.
"If they don’t have a positive upturn in performances and results then the January window opens and you go 'OK, is David going to be our long-term manager? No.
"'Are we going to allow him money to spend? Well, no. Then are we better replacing him?'"

"If somebody else more attractive comes to the market, who is to say West Ham won't replace David again.
"It's clear he wasn’t the fans' number one choice."
West Ham fans slated Moyes on social media after the 2-0 defeat at Vicarage Road.
One fan said it was "staggering" how Moyes had managed to make West Ham "worse than they have been all season."
