ARSENAL and Manchester United both sent scouts to watch Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira over the weekend.
The Premier League giants are tracking the powerful star, who was a key part of Portugal's victorious Euro 2016 squad.
It won't have taken long for the scouts to have been impressed with the 26-year-old.
The defensive midfielder scored after just five minutes against Portimonense, ghosting in unmarked from a corner to volley the opener.
But Porto struggled at home.

The Primeira Liga leaders, who have won 11 and drawn just one of their 12 matches this season, almost suffered a shock defeat.
In fact they needed TWO injury-time goals, from Victor Aboubakar in the 91st minute and Yacine Brahimi in the 96th, to win 3-2.
Arsenal have long been linked with 6ft 2in defensive midfielder Danilo, while United boss Jose Mourinho keeps a strong interest in players from his former club.
Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with Danilo.
The midfielder has strong instincts to snuff out danger in midfield and is very powerful in the tackle.
He is decent on the ball and is known for start quick attacks.
Danilo also has an eye for goal, having scored 12 goals from his deep position since joining the club in 2015.
He has 27 Portugal caps.
