But it's set to be bad news for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Armenian is set to pay the price for some poor form and be dropped, with Jesse Lingard coming in.

The early team news has been reported by the Independent.

Pogba has been sidelines since the Champions League victory against Basel in September.

His absence from the team has had a direct impact on Romelu Lukaku, whose goals have dried up.

Rojo has been out since the Europa League game last season against Anderlecht in April.

He featured in an U23 game earlier this week, but it was not originally thought he would be ready to return until the Champions League game against CSKA Moscow on December 5.

The Red Devils are aiming to put their dismal defeat to Chelsea behind them as they welcome Newcastle to Old Trafford.

Mourinho was roundly criticised for his negative tactics at Stamford Bridge, where his side were shown up by Alvaro Morata's goal.

United remain optimistic that Phil Jones will feature despite him limping out of England's draw with Germany.

Mourinho’s side have lost two of their last three games in the Premier League, as many as in the previous 37 combined.
