Pep Guardiola set to discuss Manchester City contract extension to keep him at the Etihad beyond 2019
According to reports the City coach is considering remaining at the Etihad beyond his current deal which would keep him in the Premier League into a fourth season
PEP GUARDIOLA has his eye on extending his stay at Manchester City beyond his current three-year deal.
The Etihad boss joined at the start of last season after a three-year spell at Bayern Munich.
At the end of that three years, Guardiola had had enough of the Bundesliga and was ready for a fresh challenge.
But now it seems he is ready to commit himself to the Premier League, according to the Mail.
Talks between the club and the manager will not start until after the end of this campaign and with City making a sensational start to the league season, the club will want to get him to sign quickly.
Guardiola, 46, lasted four seasons at Barcelona, before quitting in 2012 after winning the treble in his first season and another Champions League in 2011.

Then he cited tiredness and a willingness to spend more time with his family and three children and he moved to New York during a sabbatical.
