Ex-Arsenal stopper Wojciech Szczesny’s popstar wife Marina Luczenko is a hit singer and is set to release album on Friday co-produced by James Arthur
KEEPER Wojciech Szczesny's wife Marina Luczenko is a hit as a singer in the renowned Polish music biz.
She is about to release an album On My Way, recorded in London, with the track Lay My Body Now having been co-composed by James Arthur.
But track six, I Do, was written by the former Arsenal shotstopper.
Now with Juventus, accomplished musician Szczesny, who plays piano and guitar, said: "One evening I was bored, I listened to a melody composed by my wife and started to write some lines.
"After that I sent it to Marina as a surprise for her. I thought she was just gonna blow it off but she said it's cool.
"She has tried to record it, then we've made some changes, but the lyrics are mine!
"What are the lyrics about? It can be interpreted differently but as an author I know exactly what I wanted to say.
"It's about toxic love. I must say I'm quite sensitive guy. I think it went well.

"Marina? Not only my favourite artist but my beloved one of course."
What next we wonder? Having been caught having a crafty fag in the showers at Arsenal, surely a cover version of Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water is a must.
