GABRIEL JESUS was back doing what he does best on Friday... scoring goals and winning football matches.

The Manchester City star, 20, scored as Brazil stormed to a 3-1 win over Japan in their international friendly.

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar and Real Madrid full-back Marcelo also got on the scoresheet during the clash in Lille.

But the real talking point once again was Jesus - who scored with a simple side-footed finish in the 36th-minute of the game, to make it 3-0.

The goal pushed his international tally to seven goals from just 12 games - to go with four assists.

That ratio means he averages around one goal involvement per game - at 11 in 12.

More incredibly than that, every time Jesus has scored for Brazil in a competitive fixture, the South Americans have not only won... they've won to nil.

Jesus has scored in World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela, Peru and Chile, with his friendly goal against Japan the first time he's scored and Brazil have conceded.

Meanwhile his statistics from his time at Man City make for even more astonishing reading...

After all, goals, assists and personal accolades aside, Jesus has NEVER lost a game he has played for Pep Guardiola's men - in nearly a year at the club.

On top of that, in just 20 Premier League games, Jesus has found the back of the net an incredible 14 times.

All in all, the Samba star has scored 16 goals in 27 games for Man City in all competitions, including two in four Champions League outings.

In 2017-18 so far, Jesus has scored seven goals in ten games - the exact tally he accumulated last term - while adding an assist to his five helpers from 2016-17.

His 16 goals to go with six assists in 27 games, means overall, Jesus averages a phenomenal 0.81 goals per game.

The 20-year-old's form has been so sensational all year, some fans have even suggested they'd rather start him over Sergio Aguero.

When you consider the Argentine star has won the Premier League twice and is now City's all-time leading scorer, that's some feat... particularly at such a young age.
