Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos launches another swipe at his old chief and now Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho over Iker Casillas
The captain of the Bernabeu giants could not resist taking a little dig at his former manager and the current Manchester United chief
SERGIO RAMOS could not resist sticking in the boot to Jose Mourinho once again when quizzed about Bernabeu legend Iker Casillas.
Manchester United manager Mourinho was in charge of the Galacticos from 2010 until 2013 before returning to Chelsea.
During that spell he began to phase the iconic Madrid shotstopper out of the first-team, leading to the veteran eventually upping sticks and joining Porto in 2015.
The 36-year-old keeper is finding his position under threat once again in Portugal, with Porto boss Sergio Conceicao dropping him for their last Champions League clash.
Despite being on international duty for Spain, Madrid captain Ramos was quizzed about his former colleague's fortunes - and he did not hesitate to take a swipe at Mourinho.
The defender told radio station El Larguero: "It’s a situation that catches my attention, it surprises everyone.
"If there is something personal behind this, that I do not know, I wish him to be happy wherever he his, and you should not lose your joy; the day you lose it, you will have a problem.
"We are always in touch with jokes and nobody likes to be a substitute when they’ve always been a starter.

"I ask if the coach is Mourinho’s friend! I would not be surprised, I’ve seen this coach at a press conference and he has similar traits to Mourinho."
Casillas made over 500 appearances for Real Madrid before his departure and won a host of honours with the Spanish giants.
