Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino ‘in love’ with Daniel Levy as Argentine reveals his admiration for ambitious chairman
Spurs gaffer admits he's delighted to have been given the chance to start a new era with the north Londoners
MAURICIO POCHETTINO has jokingly revealed he’s “in love” with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.
Since they linked up in 2014, Spurs have gone from strength to strength in the Premier League and Champions League.
Tottenham were the closest challengers to eventual title winners Leicester and Chelsea in the last two seasons.
And Spurs now look like they are more than capable of challenging for European honours after dismantling current continental champs Real Madrid last month.
Levy recently claimed he’s delighted with Pochettino’s progress in north London, telling Sky Sports’ Guillem Balague that he wants the Argentine to stay for another “ten to 15 years” at the club.
But the feeling is definitely mutual, with Pochettino praising his boss for giving him the chance to “write history” with Spurs.

The tactician said: “It’s true that sometimes I don’t want to be so kind with Daniel because Daniel knows more than me that sometimes we have differences, but I am in love with him.
“Because he is the type of person who gave me one day, three and a half years ago, the possibility to be here.
