Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho ‘berates’ players after Huddersfield loss as he eyes win over Spurs
Special One made it clear he was not happy but reports claim he also gave players a piece of his mind at training earlier this week
JOSE MOURINHO reportedly “berated” his Manchester United players in a training session on Monday following their humiliating 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield.
The Daily Mail claims Mourinho launched a second attack on his flop stars after giving them an earful in the away changing room last Saturday.
A source claims the Special One “criticised the players’ attitude, and questioned the heart and hunger within the team.”
They said: “He lost it. He shouted at the players that it wasn’t good enough, and told them there’s an expectation to win at United. He wants a response out of them.”
The Red Devils quickly got back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Swansea in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
But they host high-flying Tottenham this weekend, with the two title contenders both level on points.
