Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho hands trial to 14-year-old Swedish wonderkid Rines Arifi
MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho has handed a trial to 14-year-old Swedish wonderkid Rines Arifi.
The forward could become the third Swede to join United's ranks after Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Victor Lindelof.
Youngster Arifi - who plays for Swedish side Husie IF - has said he can't wait to get started for the team he has supported his whole life.
Arifi said: "It feels awesome and exciting. Manchester United have been my favourite team ever since I was little."
Meanwhile, his dad Hajriz echoed that sentiment, saying it's a huge opportunity for his lad.
Hajriz said: "It is not possible to describe how amazing it is to get a trial.
"He loves football a lot and he has been battling since he was six-years-old.
"He never misses a training session."
Arifi has also described how his three favourite players all have strong links to Manchester United.
The youngster says he idolises Cristiano Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba.
