Ronald Koeman under rising pressure as Liverpool mayor and Everton fan Joe Anderson tweets his frustration after ‘poor’ 1-1 Prem draw at Brighton
City leader who is a Toffees fan doubts if any players have improved under the Dutchman and adds: "He is clearly the problem but not sure he can find solution"
RONALD KOEMAN is under pressure from where he least expected it after scathing tweets from Liverpool mayor and Everton fan Joe Anderson.
Wayne Rooney's last-minute penalty equaliser at fellow strugglers Brighton seemed to have given Toffees boss Koeman brief respite.
But Anderson slated a "poor" display and claimed Koeman was "clearly the problem".
The Labour politician, who won a second term as city mayor last year, tweeted: “Koeman will be judged by results.
"This was another poor one & poor performances v poor side. I ask him have any players improved under him?”
But in another post, Anderson said: “Most fans wanted him so think he should be given a bit more time.
"He is clearly the problem but not sure he can find solution.”
Everton are fifth bottom with just eight points from eight Premier League games - despite Koeman splashing out for his second season in charge.

And the Dutchman admits he faces a "difficult situation".
The former Southampton Feyenoord manager warned he will bring in new players unless there are clear improvements.
But Koeman hopes the point-saving finale at the AMEX Stadium will rev up belief amongst a squad who many pundits felt was good enough to challenge the Prem's established top-six.
He said: “Let’s hope that the point gives the boys a little bit more calmness and confidence.”
“They showed commitment. If there is no commitment by one player it is my job to bring in other players, but they work so hard every day to get it right and it’s difficult.
It’s not easy, the Premier League. You don’t go to Brighton and get an easy win. You need to fight and play well.”
