Tottenham transfer news: Real Madrid ‘to offer Gareth Bale, Luka Modric AND Karim Benzema for Harry Kane’
Los Blancos hopeful mouth-watering potential deal can persuade Daniel Levy to sell in-form England striker
REAL MADRID are set to offer Tottenham Gareth Bale, Luka Modric AND Karim Benzema for Harry Kane, according to reports.
But Spurs continue to insist they do not need to sell the England hitman.
But Spanish news outlet Diaro Gol claims Los Blancos are cooking up the mouth-watering bid in the hope of changing Tottenham supremo Daniel Levy's mind.
Only Bale and Benzema would be included in an initial offer, according to the report.
But should Spurs hold out for the £179million transfer fee which the Spanish paper claims the club value him at, they would throw in former Tottenham fan favourite Modric as well.
The potential ground-shaking move would see Bale, 28, and Modric, 32, return to the club that propelled them to worldwide success.
And in French forward Benzema, 29, Spurs would be left with a quality replacement up front.
Kane, 24, has hit new heights at Tottenham in the past few seasons and won the Golden Boot for the second time running last term after scoring 29 Premier League goals.
He has picked up where he left off this time round, finding the net 15 times in just 13 appearances for club and country.
The England captain's stunning success has seen him included in the 2017 Ballon d'Or shortlist alongside the liked of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Kane's team-mate, Dele Alli, is also reportedly wanted in La Liga with both Real and Barcelona chasing him.
But Levy is adamant the England ace, 21, is not for sale - even for £150m.
