Harry Kane trademarks his own NAME as he looks to cash in on his success on the pitch
Tottenham striker has registered the ‘HK Harry Kane’ logo with the Government in its ‘clothing, footwear and headgear’ category
HARRY KANE is on course to become England’s £150million man after TRADEMARKING his name.
The Tottenham striker has registered the ‘HK Harry Kane’ logo with the Government in its ‘clothing, footwear and headgear’ category.
And that means the brand could earn him £10m a year in marketing deals alone over the next five seasons.
Coupled with his £5m-a-year wages, the Three Lions talisman will net £75m before the 2020 World Cup and at least £150m in ten years if he keeps his form and fitness.
Kane’s market appeal has risen dramatically after three incredible seasons at Spurs, where he has netted more than 100 goals.
He has also carried England to next summer’s World Cup finals in Russia.
And that means he now has the platform to make himself one of world football’s biggest names.
His ‘HK’ logo is also registered to be used in five other categories including education and cultural activities.

He follows top sports stars such as David Beckham, Michael Jordan, Cristiano Ronaldo, Roger Federer and Tiger Woods in trademarking their name. Real Madrid superstar Ronaldo nets £27.6m a year in endorsements.
And top sponsorship consultant Nigel Currie said: “If Harry stays fit and gets the England captaincy he could be earning £10million a year for five or six years.
“Tiger Woods earned 70 per cent of his money away from the golf tournaments.
“But footballers tend to have big contracts to play as well.”
Kane has broken through the £100,000-a-week barrier at Spurs.
And that means he should earn another £50m in wages over the next decade.
Currie added: “He is looking more and more sellable. He is a good role model and one of the safest options out there for sponsors.”
