Arsenal transfer news: Christian Pulisic in demand as Gunners join Liverpool and Tottenham in race for Dortmund wonderkid
American is a long-time target of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, with Real Madrid also hot on the trail of the playmaker
ARSENAL have reportedly entered the race to sign Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Christian Pulisic.
As SunSport revealed, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was primed to step up his pursuit of Pulisic had Barcelona won their tug of war over Philippe Coutinho, while Spurs are also interested.
According to reports, Arsenal and Real Madrid are now vying with the Reds and Spurs to sign the 19-year-old American.
Pulisic is enjoying a fine opening to the season for Dortmund and has started seven games for new manager Peter Bosz.
He has helped fire the German side three points clear of Bayern Munich following five wins from six games.
Pulisic started the season with a bang after providing a goal and an assist in their opening-day win at Wolfsburg.
He has maintained his form, netting against Hamburg, although he only got on for 15 minutes in the Champions League defeat to Real Madrid last night.
Pulisic says he aware of Liverpool's interest - but wants to stay at Dortmund.
Earlier in the summer, the playmaker said: "Yes, I read that. What more can I say? I'm fully concentrated on the start of the season.
"I'm very happy in Dortmund. To be clear, I am not thinking about changing clubs.
"At the beginning of the year I finally extended my contract until 2020.
"Last season, I established myself in Dortmund with a European top club, which was always my dream as a young boy."
