Arsenal transfer news: Man City boss Pep Guardiola tells Gunners to forget about Raheem Sterling in the January transfer window
PEP GUARDIOLA has told Arsenal to forget about signing Raheem Sterling.
Arsense Wenger made an enquiry about the England forward ahead of last month’s transfer deadline.
City said ‘no’ to Sterling, 22, moving to the Emirates in a swap deal with Alexis Sanchez.
There were reports last week that Arsene Wenger might test the water again in January.
And if not in the winter, then next summer.
But after the former Liverpool man’s two goals against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Pep said his stance would not change.
The City boss said: “Raz is staying here.
The club trust him and that is why we have invested a lot of money in him.
