Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko involved in car crash on his way home from Cobham
CHELSEA star Tiemoue Bakayoko has crashed his car on his way home from training today - but did not suffer any serious injuries.
The Sun can reveal that Bakayoko, 23, was driving in his Mercedes-Benz G-Class when he veered off the road on Blundel Lane near Blues' Cobham training base on Thursday afternoon.
Police arrived at the scene at 4.40pm, and have confirmed that no other vehicle was involved in the incident.
Our exclusive pictures show the extent of the damage to Bakayoko's vehicle - with the windscreen shattered and the roof caved in.
His brother Namory recently sparked fears that an incident could happen, claiming he is putting off driving in England.
He said: "Tiemoue told me he wasn't allowing himself to drive because he thinks it’s too crazy driving on the left! But he’ll get round to it."
It is understood that Bakayoko is now at home resting.
Police said in a statement: "Surrey Police attended Blundel Lane in Oxshot around 4.40pm today following a one vehicle collision. The driver did not suffer any injuries."

Bakayoko was one of Antonio Conte’s top transfer targets all summer and the Italian was understandably delighted to have landed his man.
It did look touch-and-go for the Blues at one stage when Manchester United reportedly joined the race for Bakayoko’s signature.
The Red Devils were apparently prepared to hijack the move after pinching Everton striker Romelu Lukaku from under Chelsea’s noses.
However, the 23-year-old opted to pen a deal at Stamford Bridge, and has started three games in all competitions, scoring once.
Incredibly, Bakayoko's former youth club Montrouge are set to land two minibuses after netting a small sum of his £40m transfer.
His former coach Mathieu Laporte paid homage to the midfielder, and revealed he is more technically gifted than ex-Arsenal ace Patrick Vieira.
It isn't the first time this season that there has been a car accident involving the Blues.
Last month, a young fan was run over as he tried to collect autographs outside Cobham training centre.
