Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah promoted to first-team as Arsenal reveal squad for season
The youngsters all impressed on pre-season tour of Australia and have won rich reward for their efforts
THREE Arsenal academy players have won promotion.
And it means Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah are all included on the Gunners' official 2017/18 squad photograph.
The three youngsters were all on the Gunners pre-season tour of Australia.
So they have taken the first steps to become big stars in their own right at the Emirates.
The photograph also included defender Mathieu Debuchy, despite the Frenchman only managing eight appearances in his last two seasons with Arsenal.
In contrast, long-term absentee Santi Cazorla, out injured since last October, was not included in the line-up after being omitted from Arsene Wenger’s Europa League campaign.
At least Corzola is back on the first-team track, having begun running drills after returning to light training.
Wenger, though, in uncertain when the Spanish midfielder will be available again.

He said last week: "He’s having his first run today, so that’s quite positive, the flexibility of his ankle looks good, mobility looks good, now its getting back to full fitness without any setbacks."

"It’s difficult to predict when he’ll be available again, but overall it’s difficult to set a time, not before Christmas, that’s why I didn’t involve him in the Europa League.
"Hopefully after Christmas he will be available.
"Yes, but he’s not played over a year now, had a few surgeries, so you’re always cautious to set a time or date, but overall it looks positive."
