ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN headed out-and-about into Liverpool this afternoon as he gets used to his new surroundings up north.

He penned a five-year deal at Anfield until 2022 where he is believed to be earning around £120,000-a-week.

However his new move failed to put a smile on his face as he headed into Melwood training ground.

A fan asked Chamberlain for a photo - which the England international was more than happy to pose for - but he wasn't best pleased when a supporter had problems with his phone.

Taking part in his second Liverpool training session since returning from the international break, he was joined by his new team-mates such as Emre Can, Jordan Henderson and Wales' young star Ben Woodburn.

Chamberlain recently took a swipe at former boss Arsene Wenger after departing the Emirates.

And he could feature for the first time in a Reds shirt in Saturday's early kick-off.

Jurgen Klopp's side travel to the Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City  - a team he has fared well against since coming to the Premier League.

Liverpool have tasted victory against the Citizens in three out of their last four fixtures since the German succeeded Brendan Rodgers - drawing the other match.

However City have a brilliant home record against the 2005 Champions League winners.

In their last eight matches at the Etihad, City have lost just once against Liverpool, winning four and drawing three.

However the loss they suffered was a humiliating 4-1 defeat - it remains the last top-flight fixture Pep Guardiola's men have lost by more than three goals.

The summer transfer window was one the craziest we have ever seen.

Take a look at the most profitable transfers of ALL time.

And here are the Premier League players whose wages made them the most expensive per minute played.
