John Terry shows off yoga skills as Aston Villa captain is put through flexible regime
JOHN TERRY is trying to defy the years at Aston Villa with the help of an Italian yoga instructor.
The defender, who turns 37 in December, is still giving his all in the Championship as he ekes every last drop from his playing days.
And Terry has followed the likes of Ryan Giggs and Phil Neville in a bid to prolong his career.
The Chelsea legend posted a series of snaps on social media of him taking a yoga class from Ambra Vallo.
The Italian - who was the 'principal ballerina' during her days performing at Birmingham Royal Ballet - is Villa's yoga instructor.
And the pair got to work in the unusual setting of Villa's media room.
Villa boast some of the best training facilities in the country at their Bodymoor Heath complex.
And it was Terry taking centre stage - not Steve Bruce - as he stretched out with Vallo in the media facility.
And Terry will need to stay supple if he is to shackle Championship strikers in Villa's quest to return to the Prem.
Bruce faces a decision over whether Terry can play three games in eight days.
Villa host Brentford on Saturday and Boro on Tuesday, before a trip to Barnsley next weekend.
