Real Madrid target Eden Hazard jokes he must be worth ‘a billion euros’ after PSG paid world-record £198million for Neymar
Los Blancos want the Chelsea winger but ankle surgery scuppered his hopes of a move to European Champions
EDEN HAZARD reckons he might be worth a BILLION quid in the current transfer market.
Real Madrid want the Chelsea winger but ankle surgery scuppered his hopes of a move.
And Hazard joked that Blues could bank a TEN-FIGURE sum if he did move away from Stamford Bridge.
When asked what he was worth in light of Neymar's world-record £198million transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, the Belgian replied: "A billion euros!
"I'm joking Neymar is a great player, he's Brazilian, I do not have an answer to this question.
"He's been playing for ten years and we know that summer is the same story.
"It's part of the job, I'm focused on playing and on the games."
Hazard is convinced that Blues have the power to fight for silverware across the board - especially with their return to the Champions League.
Earlier this week he said: "I think this year will be no different from the previous years, in the sense that every year it is difficult, especially when you play in many competitions.
"This year we have the Champions League as well and it is not easy to succeed in multiple competitions.
"But we will do our best and we have got depth in our squad so sometimes maybe one or two players can rest so they are 110 per cent for the next competition.
"We just want to win as many trophies as possible, for me personally I haven't won the Champions League so maybe that one would be a little bit more special, but I would prefer us to win everything."

Hazard has also broken ranks at Stamford Bridge by admitting he wants Diego Costa BACK in the squad.
Spain striker Costa, 28, is still AWOL in Brazil after being dumped by text by Stamford Bridge boss Antonio Conte.
He refused demands to return to training as he saw a move to Atletico Madrid fall through.
Chelsea named Costa in their Premier League squad but not their Champions League one.
And Blues midfielder Hazard confessed: "I want him back but you know I don't make the decision.
"Diego is a top guy, a top player. I hope he can find a solution and I want to see him on the pitch soon.
"We spent three years together and we won everything, not the Champions League, but we won the league.
"It was a pleasure to play with him."
