Harry Kane STILL hasn’t scored in the Premier League in August… despite playing 13 times in the month for Tottenham
TOTTENHAM endured a shaky August in the Premier League.
Mauricio Pochettino's men won just one of their three opening games, including a 2-1 loss to Chelsea and 1-1 draw with Burnley... both at "home" at Wembley.
But it's hard to fault the North Londoners too much, after all they played all three games with ten men.
Harry Kane doesn't like the month of August... a fact he doesn't hide away from.
After England's unconvincing 4-0 win away to Malta, in which he scored twice, he even joked: "Didn't like August anyway!
"Solid performance and good result away from home. #ThreeLions"
In fact, in NINE seasons in and around the first-team squad at Tottenham, Kane has scored ZERO goals in the Premier League.
The England ace is Tottenham's talisman and biggest goal threat, so it's hardly a surprise that when he struggles, so too does the team.
*"TOTAL" excludes games played in August...

Kane has played 13 times in the Premier League in the summer month, with many backing him to finally break his drought in 2017-18.
On the back of yet another stellar season - scoring an incredible 29 times in the Prem to win the Golden Boot - it seemed he was destined to break his duck.
Yet three games came and went, with no goals to show for it... as Spurs themselves only scored FOUR times in limping to ninth in the league going into the international break.
Kane has played 898 minutes of Premier League football in August and taken an impressive 44 shots.
But it's not necessarily goalkeepers getting their season off to a flying start... as he's only hit the target ten times - or less than once per game.
Compare his record in August to other months and the record is all the more incredible.
In November, Kane can boast nine goals in 11 outings, while March has seen 12 goals in just TEN games.
In fact, four months break double-figures, while three more months have seen nine goals off the boot of Kane.
So when will he break his August duck? You know what they say... "there's always next year".
