WEST HAM boss Slaven Bilic has just four Premier League games to save himself from the sack, according to reports.
The Hammers are rock bottom of the Premier League with zero points from their opening three games and having conceded ten goals.
The former defender admitted after being beaten 3-0 by fellow strugglers Newcastle on Saturday that he is worried by their start.
And The Telegraph claims Bilic has the next four league matches – after the international break – against Huddersfield, Tottenham, Swansea and West Brom to save his job.
The Croatian is in the final year of his contract so any pay-off would be minimal in comparison to the losses if he were to take the club down to the Championship.
Bilic met with co-owner David Sullivan on Sunday and Monday in Marbella where he was reassured about his short-term future.
There are two trains of thought around West Ham’s poor start - some see the ongoing stadium problems that forced them to start this campaign with three games away as a key factor.
Others look at the £42million spent this summer on experienced Premier League players Marko Arnautovic, Joe Hart, Javier Hernandez and Pablo Zabaleta and blame the manager.

The former Everton player insisted he was upbeat after the Toon loss at the weekend but admitted it was fair for people to be concerned.
Bilic said: “Newcastle were better in every aspect of the game. They had simply more power, more determination.
"I am worried. I'm not panicking. It's very early.
"After the game against Southampton, we lost the game, we still had zero points but I was still very, very positive with the way we played, with the way we reacted after we were left with ten men.
"This is different, this is worrying, but like for every club, it has its ups and downs and nobody will take us out of this situation but ourselves.
"I am the manager, it's my job to be confident and to believe in good and bad times.
“Even when the times are bad, then you see the importance of the job more than in the good times. I haven't changed in that."
