Watford boss Marco Silva reportedly preparing move to sign Leicester City striker Islam Slimani
Hornets chief plotting swoop to bring out of favour Algerian international from Premier League rivals as Foxes consider allowing former record signing leave
WATFORD are reportedly on the verge of making a move for Leicester City's Islam Slimani.
New Hornets boss Marco Silva has wasted no time in trying to bolster his attacking regiment this transfer window.
He has already secured the signing of Andre Gray from Burnley.
However, the Telegraph claim that he now wants to add the Foxes hitman to his attacking ranks.
The Algerian was Leicester's club-record buy when he moved to the King Power Stadium last summer.
But the 29-year-old has filled the heights with Craig Shakespeare's men and is likely to be allowed to leave the club.
And Watford are ready to offer him a Premier League lifeline.
Silva already has a fully-packed forward line to choose from but is keen to add further recruits.

The ex-Hull City chief already has Troy Deeney, Stefano Okaka, Isaac Success and Gray to pick from.
But following Saturday's goalless draw at home to Brighton the Portuguese coach clearly feels he needs more options.
